2. General presentation of the study programme

The programme trains a profile of multidisciplinary and polytechnic landscaper able to face the challenges coming from the changes of contemporary territories, a professional profile able to integrate and connect his/her specific knowledge with different fields as architecture, urbanism, agronomy and forestry sciences, hydraulic and infrastructure engineering, ecology, social sciences, history, law, economics and management of territory.

The focus of the proramme is landscape design, in its main elements: open spaces, natural and anthropic, built heritage, infrastructures. The programme gives importance to preservation as well as transformation, formulating intrevention hypothesis coherent with places and their evolution and their inhabitants. The programme fulfils the objectives of protection, management and requalification of  landscapes related to the European Landscape Convention.

The landscape design is considered as a critical practice that allows to undesrand phenomena in their continuous evoution, and relates necessary techniques and skills. The Study Programes proposes the landscape design as a technical and cultural integration, necessary in many application fields, such as: recovery of territorial heritage, regeneration of urban peripheries, design of open space systems, parks, garden and public spaces, management of wide portions of land or nature, design of a territory's sustainable touristic accessibility and viability.

 Teaching is organized in main workshops and thematic courses closely connected. Elective courses can be selected within a wide and articulated offer, enriched by elective courses from other study programmes. The teaching path aims to transfer the foundations and techniques of specific disciplines, as well as more general aptiitudes like critical analysis, research, and imagination. These aptitudes can be found at the Politecnico di Milano, a university born under the sign of the integration between science and culture, a suitable place and in the AUIC School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering, the most suitable context to find and manage the right skills required.

Seven pairs of terms describe briefly the quality and objectives of the course:

-           Project for landscape/landscape for projects: A laurea magistrale study programme in landscape design as a specific project (garden parks, installation of built and open space) / a laurea magistrale study programme that looks at the landscape dimension within other projects (urban and infrastructural regeneration, reorganization of agricultural activity)

-           Polytechnic knowledge/project and culture. A programme that involves different cultures of the architecture world and also opens up to the cognitive and methodological contributions of the world of environmental engineering and agricultural sciences / A programme that focuses on didactics and knowledge of the critical practice of the contemporary landscape project: formed by natural and artificial open space, built and infrastructure heritage.

-           Preservation/recovery and drawing. A programme that focuses on the issues of protection of the existing heritage / A laurea magistrale study programme focused on evolution and design topics about recovery, new insertions, and where necessary through the respect and regeneration of the existing heritage.

-           Vision/Management. A Laurea Magistrale Study Programme that trains to vision and design as well as to management and care of landscape.

-           Ecology/history. A Laurea Magistrale Study Programme that focuses on the nature and the ecological point of view of landscape/a programme that pays attention to history and social dimension of landscape.

-           Open spaces/built heritage: A Laurea Magistrale Study Programme where landscape project is open space/a Laurea Magistrale Study Programme where landscape project pays also attention to the built heritage.

-           Italy/world: A programme that considers the Italian territory, its landscape and its different problems (from its extreme geomorphological and pedological articulation, to the hydrogeological instability and risk, to the quality of its refined historical landscapes, to the poor quality of its new landscapes produced by the country development) as a laboratory for the contemporary project. On this basis, a totally open Laurea Magistrale Study Programme to the international dimension and to the challenges given by the main changes on a world scale.

3. Learning objectives

 

The objective of the Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to MSc hereinafter referred to as LM) course in Landscape Architecture, Land, Landscape and Heritage is to form the technical and professional profile of an expert planner, capable of coherently integrating the complexity of the required knowledge to plan and manage transformations of contemporary landscapes, fully aware of the different aesthetic, technical, functional and organisational aspects. The landscaper is a figure who is capable of giving technical responses which integrate existing elements with new ones inserting them into the dynamic and evolving context of landscapes, who includes and manages the natural environment’s characteristics, the value and duties regarding historically and anthropologically relevant landscapes, who has the tools to assess values and priorities on technical, cultural and civil grounds. The Landscape Artist who graduates from the Politecnico di Milano is taught with a specific objective: to be able to produce projects, designs and visions, referring to different periods and considering the works and their future management within a realistic operational and economic budget, interacting with various other professionals and authorities.

For these reasons the course aims to provide a strong interdisciplinary and polytechnic focus and is soon to be adapted to the ever-increasing presence of international students.

The educational programme takes into consideration and highly values the multiplicity of accepted students’ backgrounds, alternating courses and workshops for planning where they are encouraged to use their skills and collaborate with the staff.

During the first year there are courses dedicated to landscape history and culture and to its representation, courses which therefore introduce students and allow them to become acquainted with project-based themes; the first year’s workshops are in turn focused on planning open space systems and on the relationship between landscape and infrastructure.

The provided programme in completed by integrated courses in ecology and agrarian sciences, infrastructure and landscape planning, soil and urban and rural landscape reading. These courses support the second workshop which is dedicated to the relationship between landscape and road and hydraulic infrastructure planning.

The second year offers two workshop experiences, the first focuses on issues regarding the recovery and recycling of landscapes, the second is open to experimental issues. The programme also offers integrated courses which are theme-specific to choose between, optional integrated courses and an innovative learning experience regarding environmental analysis and landscape mapping. A planning workshop which can be chosen within the School’s offer, or which it acknowledges, and the apprenticeship complete the educational offer leading up to the final thesis.

The qualification grants access to "Dottorato di Ricerca" (Research Doctorate), "Corso di Specializzazione di secondo livello" (2nd level Specialization Course) and "Master Universitario di secondo livello" (2nd level University Master)

The qualification enables students to access Research Doctorate, Level II Specialisation Courses and Level II University Master's courses.

5. Professional opportunities and work market

5.1 Professional status of the degree

The study programme trains students to the profession of planners, landscapers and specialists in recovery and conservation of territory. ISTAT CODE 2.2.2.1.2

In Italy the Landscape Architect is the professional figure licensed to practice on the following areas of activity: - planning and management of parks and gardens; - drafting of landscape plans; - restoration of hystoric park and gardens (law 20.6.1909 n.364), with the exception of large  within the Landscape elements.

Graduates in Landscape Architecture are admitted after a state exam, to enroll as member of the “ordine nazionale degli Architetti, Pianificatori, Paesaggisti, Conservatori” (Dpr 5.6.2001). For any fourther information refer to the link: www.esamidistato.polimi.it

 

The Landscape Designer, or the master's degree in Landscape Architecture. Land Landscape Heritage has landscape design as its main functions, intended both as a transformation and as a conservation of the territory in its complexity: it is therefore a landscape designer, landscape planner, an expert in the management, and care of the landscape heritage. In the working context, which is considered to be in constant evolution, the landscape architect can perform various functions, some linked to a long tradition, others to more recent openings on the professional front. The graduate in Landscape Architecture. Soil, Landscape, Heritage, has access to the State Exam for registration in the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservators in Section A of the Register professional, landscape sector '. Graduates can work as a freelance (as a designer), provide technical support in multi-disciplinary studies (engineering companies and environmental consultancy companies, etc.), in public administrations (parks, environmental and water consortia, green sectors, parks and municipal administration gardens, territorial and environmental sectors, agriculture of regional and national administration) and in enterprises (in particular in the agricultural, tourism, and leisure sectors) and in third sector subjects, landscape expert and administrator of properties and real estate assets of importance landscaping, university teaching, and research, and private institutes.

5.2 Careers options and profiles

The Landscape Architect who graduates from the LM course in Landscape Architecture, Land, Landscape and Heritage, conducts research and consults on the design, planning, administration, conservation and sustainable development of landscapes, of open spaces and the environment, both within and without urban contexts (IFLA, 2003); they design and plan urban and rural landscapes in space and time, based on the natural characteristics and historical and cultural values of the territory (EFLA, 1989); at the heart of the landscape architect’s skillset are landscape planning (including the definition and management of policies); landscape projects (changes due to physical intervention); landscape management (policies and physical changes over time); also included among intervention processes is the involvement of local operators and communities (ECLAS 2010).

It will be possible to work as a self-employed professional or company, with the technical support of multidisciplinary studies (engineering company and environmental consultancy company, etc.), in public administration (parks, environmental consortia, Comune-managed green areas, parks and gardens, environment and territorial sectors, regionally and nationally managed agriculture) and in businesses (specifically in the agricultural, tourism and leisure sectors) and with subjects operating in the third sector, landscape expert and property and landscape-related estate administrator, teaching and research at university level and in private institutions. The main functions of Landscaper, or the graduated student in Landscape Architecture, Land, Landscape, Heritage, is to design landscape, intended as transformation and preservation of territory as a whole: therefore, s/he is a landscape designer, landscape planner, expert to manage and take care of the landscape heritage. In the work context, which is constantly in evolution, the landscaper can perform several functions related to a long last tradition, and others from a more recent openings to new professional profiles:

a) design of gardens, parks and open spaces;
b) landscape design and environmental ecological systems
c) management of construction sites and direction of landscaping works
d) planning management and protection of natural landscapes and of rural and agro-forestry territories;
e) planning and design of landscape restoration of abandoned and degraded areas (abandoned factories, quarries, landfills);

6. Enrolment

6.1 Access requirements

First cycle degree (level 6 EQF) or comparable qualification

Laurea or comparable foreign qualification

 

In order to be admitted to the laurea magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) Study Programme, a Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) of the classes L-17 (Sciences for Architecture) and L-21 (Territorial, Urban and Environmental Planning Science) is required, as well as of the corresponding classes of the Ministerial Decree 509/99 or at least a three-year Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Planning  obtained abroad (these qualifications are not currently available in Italy and therefore they are not included in any class).

Also, graduate students, after their career study verification, can be admitted to the classes L-25 (Agricultural and Forestry Sciences and Technologies), L-7 (Civil and environmental engineering), L-32 Science and technology for the environment and territory as well as of the corresponding classes of the Ministerial Decree 509/99.

The same criteria apply also to those who hold a university degree obtained abroad, evaluated as suitable by the Board of Laurea Magistrale Study Programme, for which the scientific-disciplinary fields can be identified and the number of credits obtained in each sector. If the identification is not possible, the career evaluation will be carried out by the Study Programme Board.

The curricular requirements must be met before enrolment in the Laurea Magistrale Programme, given that enrolment with additional educational obligations is not allowed.

Admission to the laurea magistrale Study Programme is also subject to verification of individual preparation, that must be in line, for what concern knowledge and skills, with criteria evaluated as essential in order to properly take part in the study programme. A key aspect of this individual verification is a good knowledge of the English language. The level of knowledge of the English language must be certified, when applying for admission, by achieving the minimum scores in the test required by the University.

The assessmento of english language knowledge is part of the verification of personal preparation. Language requirements must be met within the end of the application window, by attesting the minum language knowledge required by the university.

6.3 Deadlines for admission and number of places available

For the academic year 2020/2021 there are 80 places available for enrolment: 55 places are reserved to Non EU students, 35 to Italian and European students.

The periods during which an application for admission to one of the Course of Study of the AUIC School may be submitted are specified in the academic calendar.

Any student in a good position in the ranking (as specified in the technical annex to these rules) may only enrol in the reference period for applications.

Any unassigned places at the start of the first term will be available at the start of the second term and, in the event that the programmed number is reached in the first term, it will not be possible to submit an application for admission in the second term. 6.4 Tutoring and students support

Under the name of in-course orientation and tutoring, there are all activities aimed at providing assistance to

students before and during their university career, in order to carry out this activity within the time limits set by educational regulations and in a profitable way from the point of view of professional and human skill education. Therefore, tutoring activities are different from institutional educational activities, although they can integrate, or be complementary, of these last ones. Tutoring activities can be carried out by laurea magistrale students, by Ph.D. students, by professors and externals.

Tutoring activities are managed independently by the School, upon the indications of the Study Programme Board.

At University level, the Financial Aid and International Mobility Service is the connection point with the Schools for administrative aspects related to the assignment of duties and settlement of related salaries.

Tutoring activities are divided into the following services:

-           didactic orientation for first-year students and for students of the following years;

-           didactic support meetings held by professors (to help students in their inclusion and learning choices);

-           support/reception activities for first-year students of Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) Programmes, both at the counter and via e-mail;

-           support to foreign students enrolled in Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) Study Programme in English language and students in international mobility programmes;

-           assistance for review and recovery seminars;

-           assistance in computerized classrooms, libraries and laboratories;

-           assistance in acquisition and development of didactic material.

The results of the activities carried out by the in-course tutoring and guidance service for the Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) study programme in Landscape Architecture. Land Landscape Heritage will be available after September 2017 with the first students enrolled in the programme.

7. Contents of the study Program

7.1 Programme requirements

The access to degree exam session is allowed after having obtained 120 credits. As defined by the table of class LM-3 the minimum guaranteed for characterizing educational activities is 45 ects (Landscape architecture, Landscape ecology and naturalistic engineering). For similar activities, the minimum guaranteed is of 12 ects. 14 ects are provided for internship and final exam.

The graduation session is accessed after earning 120 credits. As defined by the LM-3 class table, the minimum guaranteed for the characterizing training activities is 45 credits (Landscape Architecture, Landscape Ecology, and Naturalistic Engineering). For similar activities, the minimum guaranteed is 12 credits. While 14 credits are reserved for the internship and the final exam.

7.2 Mode of study

It is a full-time Programme; it includes attendance to training activities consisting of lessons and exercises, Compulsory laboratory, Workshop. In some cases, innovative learning modules may be part of the didactic offer.

The Course is full time; it includes participation in training activities consisting of lessons and exercises, compulsory attendance studios, workshops.

7.3 Detailed learning objectives

Training activities are organized in Single Subject and Integrated Course Programmes and Laboratories. Each one has a number of credits as shown in the Degree Programme of the Study Programme.
- Single Subject Courses can provide procedures of in-course evaluation and end with an exam.
- The Integrated Courses can provide in-course tests and they are organized according to modules provided by different professors that are part of a single examination commission. Each Integrated Course has a single exam for the student.
- There are laboratories coordinated by professors responsible for the integrated modules in the laboratory. The Laboratory attendance is compulsory for at least 70% of the whole number of hours. Attendance is verified by all professors responsible of the laboratory, based on criteria according to their training organization. Laboratory activities end with an examination carried out by the Commission made by all responsible professors.

If different sections of the same laboratory are foreseen in different semesters, it will not be possible to repeat the same laboratory in both semesters.  Moreover, it is not possible to attend two laboratories in the same semester.

11. International context

The international experience, where students from abroad are supported by Italian students, has been tested since many years.

The activation of courses in English has greatly helped to strengthen and activate the cooperation networks with a large number of international Universities, through the creation of the main structure with an identity defined by the School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering and its Study Programmes.

12. Internationalization

International Mobility for Study

The Politecnico di Milano offers the students various opportunities to spend periods studying abroad. The credits (ECTS)acquired, subject to the approval of a LearningAgreement, are recognized as an integral part of the curriculum.

 International mobility may be a short period (a) or a Double Degree (b):

a) period of study at partner universities in EU countries (Erasmus) and non-EU countries (bilateral agreements);

b) Double Degree projects with EU and non-EU universities.

 Aside from these opportunities,  international mobility periods of variable lengths and natures are also possible, within international networks which the Politecnico is part of (Alliance4Tech, Athens, Idea League).

 Short periods of mobility generally last one term. They are potentially extendable, if allowed by the agreement with the partnered university, for a further term, subject to authorisation from the School Bodies (the Politecnico Teachers who promote the mobility for the partner university).

 During the short period of mobility, it is possible to acquire credits (ECTS) and/or carry out part of the thesis at the partneruniversity. This opportunity for some universities is specified in the call and is coordinated by the proposing professor; where it is not specified, students may nominate a co-supervisor in the partner university, as long as the objectives and content are agreed with the supervisor, who must be a professor of the Politecnico di Milano. The final discussion of the thesis must take place at the Politecnico di Milano.

Students who take part in the Double Degree programme will obtain the Degree title from the Politecnico di Milano as well as from the partner university, after having acquired a total of 150 or 180 ECTS credits - according to the agreement - across the two universities.  Following the discussion of the thesis - in the ways agreed with the

partner university - students will be awarded with two degree with two separate marks.

The marks of the exams sat abroad are validated in the ways posted on the AUIC School’s website which involve a weighted score conversion tool.

Students cannot carry out periods of mobility, either short or for a double degree, in their countries of origin or in countries where they have already completed their Bachelor of Science.

Students who have carried out a period of international mobility for study abroad during theirLaurea can apply again during their Laurea Magistrale.

Students are requested to read this information before submitting their application.

International mobility is supported by both the Politecnico and the European Union with the payment of a scholarship, the amount of which varies from year to year.

In order to be able to participate in international mobility programmes, either for short periods or for Double Degrees, students must submit their applications via the call for International Mobility, posted periodically on the Politecnico website and on the AUIC School’s website

Students selected for mobility cannot carry out part in the exchange during the first term of their first year of their course.

 

The selected students must agree with the Professor of Politecnico, Promoter of the partnered university where they have been assigned, a Learning Agreement, i.e. a Study Plan equivalent to the teachings at the foreign university.

Students must complete at least 60 ECTS credits – out of the 120 required to obtain their Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) degree - at the Politecnico di Milano. The ECTS credits awarded for the Final Exam and for the Internship do not count towards the 60 ECTS credits required.

The Politecnico does not require a minimum number of ECTS credits, though this maydepend on the partner university or on administrative restrictions to obtain a visa that may be necessary for non-EU countries.

 International Mobility for Internships

The University Education Observatory and the University Evaluation Nucleus, with the support of faculty educational observers, carry out periodic analyses of the overall results and qualitative standards on study programmes monitoring educational activities and the ability of graduates to find work. 1 Ammissione al programma - Studenti con titolo italiano

Tutti i candidati per l'ammissione ai programmi di Laurea Magistrale presso la School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering sono tenuti a presentare una domanda di valutazione della carriera utilizzando la funzione specifica disponibile sul sito dell'Università, nella sezione Servizi online.

1.1 Requisiti e specifiche del programma

I requisiti sono precedentemente descritti nel paragrafo 6.1 delle Regole educative.

1.2 Procedura per la presentazione delle domande di ammissione per i candidati della scuola AUIC

 

1.2.1 Opzioni del programma e del piano di studio precedentemente approvato

I candidati che presentano una domanda di valutazione devono scegliere il loro programma ( CdS ) insieme alle opzioni del pianoforte di studio precedentemente approvato ( PSPA ) ove richiesto.

Le regole dell'Università richiedono un massimo di tre opzioni per la domanda di ammissione ai programmi di Laurea Magistrale . È quindi possibile indicare fino a tre preferenze del Programma.

Se necessario, per ciascun programma, è possibile specificare i piani di studio precedentemente approvati disponibili in ordine di preferenza.

Per i programmi della scuola AUIC, le varie opzioni del piano di studio precedentemente approvate all'interno dello stesso programma vengono conteggiate una sola volta per il massimo di tre preferenze che possono essere espresse.

Gli studenti possono, entro il termine stabilito, modificare / sovrascrivere le proprie scelte fino al momento in cui la domanda viene elaborata per la valutazione da parte della Commissione.

L"Architettura del paesaggio. Il programma" Il patrimonio paesaggistico del territorio "consiste in un unico percorso formativo ed è quindi sufficientemente indicarlo.

 

1.3 Parametri di valutazione

1.3.1 Dottorandi del Politecnico di Milano automaticamente ammessi all'ammissione

Gli studenti che hanno conseguito una Laurea (equivalente al corso di laurea), in conformità con i requisiti di ammissione, dal Politecnico di Milano hanno automaticamente il diritto all'ammissione al loro programma di prima scelta e precedente tutti gli altri candidati nella graduatoria, a condizione che:

•          laureato entro 4 anni dalla prima iscrizione;
•          avere un parametro N / V rispettato * entro il 10 ottobre del secondo anno solare dopo la prima iscrizione;
•          possedere la certificazione dell'apprendimento della lingua inglese entro la scadenza stabilita.

 

Per "Architettura del paesaggio. Programmi di eredità paesaggistica”, i parametri N e V sono i seguenti:

- Studenti iscritti dall'AA 2003/04 all'AA 2009/10: N / V 104/25

- Studenti iscritti dall'AA 2010/11: N / V 104/27

1.3.2 Studenti ammessi con valutazione di merito

 

Gli studenti che non soddisfano le condizioni per il diritto automatico all'ammissione, gli studenti esterni e gli studenti trasferiti da un altro programma di Laurea Magistrale sono soggetti a valutazione di merito.

La valutazione viene eseguita dal Programma pertinente, che può assegnare fino a 150 punti:

 

- fino a 110 punti = valutazione del loro Curriculum Vitae educativo in formato europeo . Sarà inoltre richiesto il loro supporto mediatico dei controlli degli esami su una base di almeno 145 crediti guadagnati. La media dei controlli degli esami registrati nel Piano al momento della valutazione sarà effettivamente valida;

- fino a 20 punti = valutazione di un portfolio comprendente testo e materiale iconografico sia da progetti gestiti in un ambiente di insegnamento sia durante corsi di applicazione e da esperienze extra-curriculari. Lo scopo di questo portfolio è di documentare l'attitudine e l'interesse dello studente per la comprensione, l'interpretazione e la pianificazione del paesaggio. Il portafoglio sarà valutato secondo i criteri di originalità e coerenza dei contenuti, qualità formale, capacità discorsiva e grafica ed espressione linguistica;

- fino a 10 punti = valutazione delle esperienze di tirocinio o di lavoro extra-curriculare completamente documentate, certificato dalla società, pertinenti e significativi per la formazione di un corsista e non utilizzato per convalidare i crediti richiesti durante la carriera precedente; È necessario specificare i dati di inizio / fine di ciascuna esperienza di stage / attività extracurriculare;

- fino a 10 punti = valutazione di altre qualifiche (certificato) nella ricerca o nella formazione extra-curriculare accuratamente documentata, pertinenti e significativi per la formazione di un architetto paesaggista e non usato per convalidare i crediti richiesti durante la carriera precedente.

Gli studenti iscritti a un portfolio sono ammessi all'ammissione con un punteggio minimo di 100. Ad ogni dato di scadenza, gli studenti con il punteggio più alto sono ammessi in base al numero previsto di ammissioni per quel semestre. Se ci sono studenti idonei con voti uguali, la loro precedenza nella classifica viene tenuto conto dei loro media ponderati fino al completamento di tutti i posti disponibili.

 

1.4 Documenti richiesti per gli studenti ammessi automaticamente all'ammissione

Tutti gli studenti che hanno automaticamente diritto all'ammissione devono presentare una domanda di ammissione. La valutazione si basa sull'insegnamento di eventuali requisiti di convalida dell'esame o della frequenza.

Nessun documento deve essere allegato alla domanda di valutazione della carriera.

La documentazione può essere autocertificata in conformità con le disposizioni statutarie che disciplinano le dichiarazioni sostitutive ( Dichiarazioni sostitutive ). Deve contenere i titoli degli esami sostenuti, i settori scientifici disciplinari, il numero di crediti per settore scientifico, il punteggio e i dati di registrazione degli esami. Il richiedente deve firmare i documenti, altrimenti non legalmente vincolanti e non può essere accettato dal comitato di selezione.

1.5.3 Studenti che hanno presentato una domanda di ammissione durante le sessioni precedenti

Gli studenti che hanno confermato il punteggio ottenuto da un portfolio presentato durante i semestri precedenti devono rientrare nel portfolio precedentemente valutato, indicando nella "nota dello studente":

“Confermo la valutazione del portafoglio precedentemente registrato durante il semestre…. dell'anno accademico ... "

 Gli studenti che hanno già richiesto l'ammissione nelle precedenti finestre delle applicazioni e integrati nel proprio portafoglio, devono caricare il portafoglio usando per le precedenti applicazioni, aggiungendo una sezione dedicata alle integrazioni. Nelle note prescritte, dovrebbe essere specificato:

"Integrazione con il portafoglio già registrato per l'applicazione per l'anno accademico ......., .... semestre."

 

La domanda non verrà presa in considerazione, qualora lo studente non specifichi l'una o l'altra indicazione nelle note della domanda.

 

1.6 Risultati e pubblicazione della laurea degli studenti ammessi

In conformità con i punti precedenti, al termine della valutazione, verrà creato un elenco di merito per gli studenti ammessi in relazione al numero programmato fissato per quel semestre.

Per quanto riguarda i punti precedenti, al termine delle sessioni di valutazione verrà pubblicata una classifica basata sul merito, alla fine del determinare il numero di studenti ammessi in relazione ai posti disponibili.

Al fine di garantire il numero previsto di posti, uno studente che è stato valutato positivamente per l'ammissione (controllo verde) potrebbe non essere in grado di iscriversi. L'iscrizione sarà abilitata agli studenti che compaiono nella classifica stabilita sul merito come "ammessi all'iscrizione".

La classifica con l'indicazione degli studenti ammessi sarà pubblicata al termine della sessione di valutazione alla pagina: https://www.auic.polimi.it/en

Non è possibile riassegnare i posti in classifica, nel caso in cui non tutti gli studenti ammessi procedano all'iscrizione. I posti vacanti saranno aggiunti a quelli previsti per il secondo semestre.

Gli studenti ammessi devono procedere con l'iscrizione secondo le modalità e le scadenze stabilite dall'Università. Non saranno accettati ricorsi per l'iscrizione dopo la scadenza.

Le integrazioni curriculari sono debiti formativi assegnati a candidati che si laureano in categorie diverse da L-21 o L-17 al fine di colmare eventuali lacune curricolari.

Se l'esito della valutazione corrisponde a "valutato positivamente con integrazioni curriculari", l'ammissione del candidato è subordinata al completamento dei crediti relativi alle integrazioni curriculari (da conseguire entro l'anno accademico in cui è presente la domanda), assegnato dal comitato di valutazione. Il candidato deve quindi completare i crediti extra prima di poter iscriversi al programma Laurea Magistrale.

Il candidato deve iscriversi ai singoli corsi che sono stati assegnati ("corsi singoli per raggiungere integrazioni curriculari") attraverso i servizi online, nella stessa sezione in cui è stato consultato l'esito della valutazione.

Dopo aver completato le integrazioni, il candidato deve inserire una nuova richiesta di ammissione, per il semestre o l'anno accademico successivo alla prima domanda, entro le scadenze stabilite dal calendario accademico. Se il candidato non presenta una nuova domanda, non sarà possibile essere ammesso e procedere con l'iscrizione.

1.8 Convalida dell'esame

La deliberazione n. 14779 del 23/03/2015 del Senato Accademico, stabilito in caso di abbreviazione di una carriera di studio, è necessario ottenere almeno 60 crediti ECTS al Politecnico di Milano, e conseguentemente una laurea in questa Università: i 60 ECTS i crediti Necessari materie curriculari, ad eccezione del tirocinio e della tesi finale, che devono essere svolti in aggiunta ai 60 crediti ECTS. La scuola stabilita da una carriera di Master of Science svolta in un paese dell'Unione Europea.

I crediti validati appariranno automaticamente nel piano di studi dello studente.

 

 

2 Ammissione al programma - Studenti con titoli di studio stranieri

Gli studenti con titoli di studio stranieri devono seguire la procedura di preiscrizione scritta sul sito Web Polinternational (http://www.polinternational.polimi.it/), rispettando le scadenze stabilite. Seguendo questa procedura, gli studenti possono richiedere borse di studio di merito e ottenere ulteriori informazioni sull'organizzazione del loro soggiorno in Italia durante la fase post-trasmissione.

 

3 Trasferimenti e modifiche

Il trasferimento da altri programmi di Laurea Magistrale o da altre università è assegnato solo attraverso la presentazione di una domanda di ammissione.

Gli esami precedenti degli studenti trasferiti possono essere convalidati se considerati compatibili con il catalogo dei corsi del corso di laurea richiesto.

Come da regolamento universitario, gli studenti trasferiti da altre università sono tenuti a sostenere gli esami al Politecnico di Milano per almeno 60 crediti, oltre al tirocinio e alla tesi finale.

L'iscrizione a una laurea magistrale non è una garanzia di trasferimento senza integrazioni curriculari. Il Comitato tiene sempre conto della Laurea di primo livello conseguita, applicando le normative vigenti.

Trasferimento alla Laurea Magistrale in "Architettura del paesaggio. Land Landscape Heritage ”non è registrato ai candidati iscritti alle università italiane per i programmi di Laurea Magistrale a ciclo unico . Gli studenti provenienti da università straniere in cui l'offerta non è suddivisa in due cicli (laurea e master) devono attestare di aver superato l'equivalente di 180 crediti ECTS e l'ammissione al prossimo anno di studio, l'obbligo classe L-21. 

   

4 Termini per procedura amministrativa di iscrizione al primo anno

Le scadenze di tutte le procedure amministrative saranno pubblicate nel calendario accademico

5 Piano di studi

Gli studenti sono tenuti, sotto la propria responsabilità, a presentare il proprio piano di studi.

Il piano di studi è preso dalla scuola come documento giustificativo a tutti gli effetti. La sua compilazione attesta anche la conformità delle scelte fatte dallo studente alle regole specifiche dalla legge e dalle disposizioni delle Regole del programma.

Il piano di studi del corso di laurea magistrale in "Architettura del paesaggio. Patrimonio paesaggistico" è composto da 120 CFU, da includere nel Piano come crediti richiesti, suddivisi come segue:

- corsi singoli o integrati

- studi

- attività elettive

- tirocinio

- test finale

Il credito massimo garantito per anno è 80.

Le richieste di modifica del piano non saranno accettate. La presentazione del Piano di studi è definitiva e deve essere inclusa entro i termini e secondo la procedura stabilita dalla Scuola. Quando si scelgono i corsi, l'insegnamento dell'insegnamento deve essere consultato in anticipo per evitare scontri con gli orari.

 

5.1 Termini per la presentazione del piano di studi annuale

La presentazione del piano di studio viene eseguita tramite i servizi online (www.polimi.it/servizionline> Servizi personalizzati> Dati sulla carriera> Presentazione del piano di studio), elaborati durante i periodi specifici previsti dal calendario accademico.

 

 

5.2 Modifica semestrale del piano di studi

In una finestra specifica impostata dal calendario accademico, sarà possibile modificare il piano di studi presentato durante l'anno accademico in corso.

Il cambio semestrale del piano di studi è facoltativo. Gli studenti che non devono apportare modifiche non devono modificare il piano di studi.

 

È possibile cambiare solo i corsi inclusi nell'anno accademico in corso. Non è possibile aggiungere o deselezionare i corsi del primo semestre. Gli studenti devono deselezionare i corsi del secondo semestre che cambiano.

Sarà quindi possibile aggiungere o rimuovere, solo nel secondo semestre, corsi opzionali e obbligatori non soggetti ad assegnazione di merito, test finale e tirocinio.

 

5.3 Pagamento aggiuntivo

Attraverso la risoluzione del Consiglio superiore, è applicabile un pagamento aggiuntivo di 100,00 euro per la mancata presentazione del piano di studi entro i termini previsti dal calendario accademico.

Il pagamento sarà richiesto con la seconda rata.

 

5.4 Partecipazione

I corsi, una volta inseriti nel Piano degli studi, tenuti negli anni successivi al raggiungimento della frequenza. Durante la compilazione del Piano di studi annuale per l'anno successivo, sarà possibile rimuovere la frequenza raggiunta e rientrare nei corsi come nuova frequenza.

Il test finale e il tirocinio vengono assegnati una sola volta durante l'assistenza professionale universitaria.

 

5.4.1 Studios

La frequenza di almeno il 70% delle ore di Studio è obbligatoria. La frequenza raggiunta non scade ma l'esame deve essere sostenuto entro le tre sessioni dell'anno accademico successivo a quella in cui ha luogo la frequenza. In caso di scadenza, lo Studio deve essere interamente ripreso e reinserito nel Piano degli studi.

 

5.5 Corsi vengono extra

È possibile aggiungere corsi / attività didattiche al piano di studi come extra. Questi corsi non verranno conteggiati per i crediti complessivi richiesti per l'ammissione alla prova finale e non verranno inviati nel calcolo dei media dei clienti.

È possibile modificare lo stato di un corso da obbligatorio un extra e viceversa durante il periodo di presentazione del piano di studi annuale.

6 allocazioni

 

6.1 Studios

 

Al momento della presentazione del piano di studi, gli studenti devono scegliere un numero di opzioni di Studio pari al numero di sezioni disponibili.

Students will be allocated based on merit, taking into account the parameters indicated in the following table:

Order by decreasing values of parameter G       n G=Σ  Vi •Ci        i=l where Vi is the score obtained in the i-th examination, Ci is the number of credits corresponding to the i-th examination, and n is the number of examinations taken.

 

First year: the parameter G will be calculated based on the career followed at deadline of request of admission.

Second year: the parameter G will be calculated based on the career followed during the summer session.

 

Per tutti gli studenti che tornano da Erasmus, non sarà possibile prendere in considerazione gli aggiornamenti se non precedentemente convalidati sul Piano prima dell'assegnazione.

Qualsiasi studente ammesso che, per qualsiasi motivo, ritardi l'iscrizione oltre le scadenze stabilite verrà automaticamente inserito nelle sezioni disponibili.

Agli studenti non è previsto frequentemente studi o corsi non inclusi nel Piano. In nessun caso è possibile riconoscere o validare le valutazioni relative ad attività non incluse nel Piano di studio o non frequentemente conformemente alle assegnazioni di sezione.

 

6.2 Corsi singoli e integrati

Nelle sezioni in cui ci sono corsi opzionali o varie sezioni dello stesso corso monodisciplinare o integrato, gli studenti hanno espresso le loro preferenze come stabilito dal sistema online e saranno assegnati posti in base al merito in base ai criteri indicati sopra punto.

 

6.3 Priorità del corso

 

L'Università, su delibera del Senato accademico, ha stabilito i seguenti tipi di priorità:

Priorità suggerita	Non definito alcuna restrizione formale. Mira a fornire agli studenti informazioni utili sulla sequenza dei corsi ma non influenza la composizione del piano di studi o della registrazione dell'esame.
Priorità di composizione del piano di studi	Stabilisce una restrizione che deve essere osservata quando si scelgono i corsi su presentazione del piano di studi. Non è possibile che il corso "B" sia incluso nel piano di studio se il corso "A" (anche se non superato) non è stato incluso. Ciò non influenza la registrazione dell'esame.
Priorità di registrazione dell'esame	Stabilisce una restrizione che deve essere osservata sia durante la compilazione del piano di studio che durante la registrazione dell'esame "positivo" (superamento del corso). Non è possibile registrare "B" se "A" non è stato registrato.

 

 

Per il programma di Laurea Magistrale in "Architettura del paesaggio. Patrimonio paesaggistico terrestre", deve essere osservata la progressione del corso stabilita dal Corso di Laurea.

 

7 attività elettive

Nel secondo anno del programma, gli studenti sono tenuti a includere corsi opzionali nel loro percorso formativo organizzato per esplorare l'integrazione e completare gli argomenti specifici studiati. Il catalogo dei corsi della School of Architecture Urban Planning Ingegneria edile offre numerosi corsi definiti "opzionali" che completano il corso elettivo ECTS. In alternativa, sarà possibile partecipare a un seminario, come specificato di seguito.

7.1 Corsi opzionali

Durante la presentazione del piano di studi, lo studente può inserire una serie di corsi opzionali sulla base dell'attuale offerta didattica.

È possibile consultare l'offerta e il programma online di ciascun corso elettivo. Qualsiasi specifica relativa alla struttura e ai crediti dei corsi opzionali può essere trovata nei regolamenti e nell'offerta della scuola pubblicata online. I corsi opzionali non assegnati una fornitura.

7.1.1 MIAW ( Corso intensivo di laboratorio )

La School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering offre un intenso seminario internazionale di progettazione per il quale può essere riconosciuto 4 crediti ECTS:  MIAW-Milano International Architecture Workshop. 

7.1.2 Procedura di partecipazione e registrazione MIAW

The School of Architecture Urban Planning Construction Engineering offers for students of the Laurea (equivalent to Bachelor of Science) in Architectural Design and the Laurea Magistrale (equivalent to Master of Science) in Architecture and Urban Design, Building Architecture, Architecture - Built Environment - Interiors, Landscape ArchitectureLand Landscape Heritage, Urban Planning and Policy Design,an intensive international programme: MIAW- the Milan International Architecture Workshop, which delivers 4 ECTS replacing the 4 ECTS of the elective activities chosen by the students.

 

7.1 Workshop

Esistono due tipi di attività di laboratorio:

- Workshop ammissibili come attività opzionali per un massimo di 4 CFU o come attività extra;

- "Workshop di tirocinio", ammissibili come attività di tirocinio per 4 CFU

 

In relazione alle sessioni di laurea, i seminari possono essere accreditati solo se terminano almeno un mese prima del giorno della laurea

Gli studenti di Laurea Magistrale non possono richiedere l'accreditamento di un seminario frequentato mentre sono iscritti un programma di Laurea; se il seminario è stato svolto come "corso in eccesso" durante il corso di laurea, non può essere validato nell'ambito del programma di laurea magistrale.

I crediti formativi possono essere assegnati solo se registrati in anticipo dal Consiglio scolastico.

Per partecipare ai seminari, gli studenti devono seguire le istruzioni indicare nelle singole schede informative e fare riferimento ai professori di riferimento indicati dal professore responsabile. Il workshop deve essere inserito dallo studente durante la presentazione del piano di studi. Dopo aver frequentato il seminario, gli studenti devono chiedersi la convalida nel piano di studi presso l'ufficio didattico della scuola.

I seminari possono essere organizzati da professori a tempo pieno della Scuola, insieme a professori a contratto, o dottorandi o funzionanti. I seminari promossi da altre università possono anche essere accreditati, se supportati da un programma di studio e accettati dal consiglio scolastico.

8 Tirocinio 

La scuola collabora con associazioni professionali, pubbliche amministrazioni, autorità locali e aziende per organizzare attività di tirocinio esterno, oltre a garantire allo studente l'acquisto di acquisire i crediti richiesti dal sistema educativo.

Inoltre, gli studenti possono svolgere l'attività pratica (tirocinio) all'interno dei Dipartimenti del Politecnico di Milano.

Le regole di durata del tirocinio saranno definite dai programmi di studio, secondo le linee guida della scuola. 9 esami

9.1 Procedura

L'uniformità della procedura per la verifica dell'apprendimento in tutte le sezioni dello stesso corso e la pianificazione di tale procedura è fornita attraverso forme appropriate di coordinamento, in linea con le direttive del Programma Laurea Magistrale .

All'inizio dell'anno accademico, ogni professore comunicherà la procedura per la verifica dell'apprendimento, il contenuto dell'esame ei criteri di valutazione.

Per ogni corso, ci sono tre sessioni di esame. Ogni sessione d'esame prevede una o più date della sessione d'esame previste dal calendario accademico della Scuola.

Gli studenti possono partecipare alle sessioni d'esame solo se debitamente registrati, utilizzano la funzione dedicata "servizi online", per la data dell'esame. La mancata registrazione rende assolutamente impossibile il test e registrare un punteggio nella carriera.

Gli studenti laureati devono rispettare le scadenze specifiche stabilite dal calendario accademico per consentire il completamento, entro le scadenze stabilite, delle procedure per l'iscrizione alla sessione di esame di laurea.

 

10 Test finale

Il programma di Laurea Magistrale in "Architettura del paesaggio. Patrimonio paesaggistico" si conclude con un test finale che prevede la presentazione e la discussione del lavoro di laurea.
